Medaase is a social project empowering artisans in Africa through entrepreneurship and sustainability.
Medaase means "thank you" in Twi, a Ghanaian dialect.
OUR VALUES
Fairness
We make sure our partners benefit from fair trade by promoting fair wages and ethical working conditions. We are covering upfront the costs of materials allowing the artisans to produce new collections.
Quality
Our collections result from the combination of the know-how of local craftsmen and a constant improvement of best practices. Each product is handmade with 100% cotton wax and our fabrics are exclusively selected from the local market.
Sustainability
We help remote artisans to develop and enrich their competencies, building a reliable collaboration. We provide business consulting to recognize new opportunities, improve processes, and develop sustainable solutions.
Engagement
We are committed to sharing a part of the profits with remote communities by directly contributing with the funding of volunteering projects. We currently support initiatives with a focus on education.
Building a long-term change
We are forging a continuing collaboration with artisans providing a positive impact on the local economy.
Together we create a unique opportunity for artisans by investing in local businesses focused on their skills and know-how.
Our partners can therefore follow their passions and pursue their dreams as entrepreneurs.

Part of the profits are shared with Atlas Volunteers, contributing with the funding of solidarity projects like building and renovating schools.
